Pakistani model and makeup artist Nadia Hussain has commented on the controversy surrounding Onija Andrew Robbins.
An American woman named Onija has recently made headlines after travelling to Pakistan because she fell in love with a 19-year-old Karachi native whose family refused to marry her. The whereabouts of the boy are unknown.
She appeared in a press conference with social worker Ramzan Chhipa, with whom she argued, saying, “You speak too much.”
Nadia advocates for Onija’s return to the United States rather than making her a spectacle.
She expressed her concern, adding, “I only have one thing to say, and this is my plea. I don’t think her mental state is good. I’m not mocking her, but what she’s saying is insane, and we shouldn’t create a spectacle of her here.”
According to the model, nobody deserves this, not even men. She demanded that no one speak to or mention her ever again and that the authorities deport her.
Where is Onija right now?
Currently, Onija is at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) due to concerns over her mental health.
According to Jeremiah Andrew Robinson, her son, his mother has a history of mental instability and cognitive deficits. Onija was supposed to return to the United States in October, he disclosed, but she refused to leave Pakistan, even though her family had bought her a ticket back.
