Punjabi rapper Bohemia expressed frustration on stage after being asked to end his performance early during a food festival in Lahore on Friday.

The rapper revealed that he had been waiting for five hours backstage, only to have his performance time reduced once he took the stage.

“I mean no disrespect, but this is mismanagement,” he said. He also added that the audience wanted to hear his music, and he had prepared a 90-minute set.

After the protest, he managed to perform a few of his songs.

Later, the rapper expressed their gratitude by tagging the festival and thanking them in an Instagram story.

It is pertinent to mention that Bilal Saeed performed at the festival today, while singer Asim Azhar is scheduled to perform on Sunday.

A few months ago, Bohemia was honoured for his remarkable contributions in United Kingdom (UK) Parliament.

He was presented with a award by Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi MP, Member of Parliament for Slough and Chair of the Defence Select Committee. The ceremony highlighted the growing influence of British Asian artists and the significance of their cultural contributions.
