WEB DESK: The National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP) announced the temporary closure of key motorway sections on Tuesday due to severe fog, which has reduced visibility to near zero.
The affected routes include:
- M4 Motorway: Closed from Pindi Bhattian Interchange to Abdul Haqeem Interchange.
- M5 Motorway: Closed from Sher Shah Interchange to Zahir Pir Interchange.
As a result, traffic has been halted on these routes to ensure public safety. Authorities have confirmed that the motorways will be reopened once the fog clears and visibility improves.
Motorway users are advised to avoid traveling on these routes until further notice. For assistance or updates regarding road conditions, commuters can contact the NH&MP helpline.
