WEBDESK: On the 148th birth anniversary of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan cricket star Shaheen Shah Afridi visited the Quaid’s Mausoleum in Karachi to honour his legacy. Afridi laid a floral wreath at the site and paid his respects, marking the occasion with reverence.

Speaking to the media at the mausoleum, the fast bowler shared his pride in visiting the resting place of Pakistan’s founder. “It’s an honour to be here. This year has been extraordinary for Pakistan cricket, especially with our memorable victory against South Africa,” Shaheen said.

Shaheen also highlighted their historic ODI series win and praised the team’s consistent hard work and determination.

Looking ahead to the ICC Champions Trophy, Afridi assured fans of the team’s preparedness. “Our preparations are on track. While it’s unfortunate that India didn’t play in Pakistan, we remain ready to compete wherever the matches take place. Pakistan always offers the best hospitality to its guests,” he remarked confidently.
