ISLAMABAD: The expected schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to commence on February 19 in Pakistan and a neutral venue, has been revealed.

According to sources, the much-anticipated tournament will kick off with the first match between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19 in Karachi.

The tentative schedule further revealed that three matches each will be played in Rawalpindi and Karachi. Lahore will host five matches, including one semi-final and the final.

Before the tournament begins, a six-day support period will be held from February 12 to 18. This period will include team arrivals, practice sessions, and other preparations.  

The highly awaited clash between Pakistan and India is scheduled for February 23 at a neutral venue. Indian matches including those with Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh are expected to be played in Dubai.

In case India qualifies for the final, the match will also be held at a neutral venue. However, if India does not reach the final, it will be played in Lahore on March 9, with a reserve day allocated for the match.
