LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken a groundbreaking step to revolutionise cancer treatment in the province.
Media reports say that during her recent trip to China, CM Maryam signed an agreement with Hygea Medical Technologies. Hygea Medical Technologies is a trailblazing company specialising in oncology devices that promises cutting-edge developments towards research and development in their production.
As stated in the reports, the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital will be furnished shortly with machinery that treats cancer without surgery or chemotherapy .These cutting-edge methods include tumor-freezing and heating techniques, offering less invasive and more effective options for patients.
Modern technology for better cancer recovery
CM Maryam met with Hygea President Dr Liu Fuliyang in China. She was told that over 10,000 patients have recovered from Hygea treatments in over 100 hospitals across 25 provinces in China.
According to Dr Liu, such techniques improve patients’ recovery rates and serve as safer alternatives to traditional cancer therapies. CM Maryam .appreciated the high success rates and promised to bring this technology to Punjab for enhanced healthcare outcomes.
Transforming Punjab’s healthcare
The Chief Minister Punjab spoke of her commitment to improving healthcare services accessibly and improve efficacity. She would convert the Nawaz Sharif Cancer Hospital into a modern state-of-the-art facility with the help of the Chinese.
“We will introduce modern equipment for breakthrough treatments and make cancer services affordable and effective for all,” she added.
