Shehroz Sameja, an entrepreneur from Pakistan, secured Rs80 lac on Shark Tank Pakistan.
Shehroz has a business that provides special equipment for specially abled children in Pakistan.
He shared with Sharks that he began collaborating with Edhi during his youth and subsequently became involved with a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Lyari, Karachi, where he discovered the significant deficiencies in resources available for specially abled children.
In response to this need, he founded a company Solution.com.pk that provides turnkey solutions for institutes and manufacturers of Therapeutic Equipment (occupational therapy, physio therapy, sensory integration ) with this the company is making holistic furniture for schools and institutes and focusing on inclusion.
He disclosed that his company has previously collaborated with 40 non-governmental organisations.
During his appearance on Shark Tank Pakistan, he sought Rs8 million in exchange for a 10 percent stake in his venture.
The initiative truly resonated with the Sharks.
Usman Bashir showed a keen interest in investing in the business. He requested a 25 percent stake, while Junaid Iqbal proposed the funds in return for a 20 percent stake.
In a collaborative decision, Usman and Junaid proposed an investment of Rs80 lac for a 20 percent equity, which Shehroz agreed to accept.
