LAHORE: Lahore-Multan Motorway M3 from Lahore to Darkhana has been closed due to zero visibility, besides M4 Motorway has been closed from Gujra to Abdul Hakeem due to fog and smog.
Moreover, Lahore-Sialkot Motorway M11 has also been closed for all types of traffic.
The reign of smog and fog continues in various cities of Punjab, including Lahore, visibility has become zero due to heavy fog at some places of the highway.
According to the spokesperson of the Motorway Police, the motorways were closed due to safety measures, citizens should avoid unnecessary travel, travel during the day instead of at night, keep the speed of vehicles low during fog, ensure the use of fog lights.
Citizens should contact the Motorway Police helpline 130 in any emergency situation.
