ISLAMABAD: Solar panel battery prices in Pakistan have witnessed a major drop in the country.
The price of lithium solar battery dropped 4 lakh fifty thousand to three lakh and eighty thousand rupees.
A tubular battery priced at Rs 70,000 started selling at Rs 55,000.
Similarly, the price of a 110-volt battery, commonly used for powering two fans and lights, has also witnessed a huge reduction.
Earlier, the solar panel prices in Pakistan had witnessed a huge decrease in the costs of systems ranging from 5kW to 15kW.
Earlier this week, Senior Minister Sindh, Sharjeel Inam Memon, had said that Sindh government will distribute free solar systems to 2 lakh deserving households in the province.
