LAHORE: The anti-terrorism court (ATC) Lahore on Friday approved the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in cases related to May 9 violence.
Bail has been granted in four cases, including the May 9 incident and the burning of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) office in Lahore.
The ATC judge Arshad Javed, approved the bail against bonds of Rs500,000 each.
On May 9, 2023, PTI protesters took to the streets to protest the arrest of the party founder. The day, also referred to as the ‘Black Day’ in history, saw PTI protesters attacking military installations in Lahore.
