The National School of Public Policy (NSPP) in Lahore had earlier requested permission for foreign study tours for NMC participants. However, the Establishment Division, in its response, informed the NSPP of the prime minister’s decision to stop such tours immediately.
The division instructed the NSPP to cancel any planned foreign trips for participants of the 121st NMC and avoid scheduling such tours in the future.
According to sources, this step has been taken to preserve foreign exchange. The NMC is typically attended by senior officials of Grade-20 from various service groups.
