Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter, Mohammad Rizwan, is on the verge of becoming the new captain of the national white-ball cricket team.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that discussions with Rizwan regarding the leadership role have been finalised, as per sources.
Dispute over selection autonomy resolved
It is reported that Rizwan initially sought control over finalising the playing XI, a condition the PCB did not agree to.
