Kia Pakistan is preparing to make its mark in the electric vehicle (EV) market, with the company teasing an upcoming reveal at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS), scheduled from October 25 to 27, 2024, in Lahore.
The announcement has sparked interest, as Kia hinted at unveiling a new chapter in its journey, with strong indications that an electric vehicle will be introduced.
In a teaser shared on social media, Kia Pakistan stated, “We’re not just thinking about the future. We’re creating it. Join us as we unveil Kia’s transformative journey at Pakistan Auto Show Event 2024.”

While the exact vehicle remains unconfirmed, there is speculation that it could be one of Kia’s renowned electric models, with the EV5 or EV6 seen as the most probable contenders.
Kia’s potential entry into the EV segment comes amid a flurry of activity in Pakistan’s automotive market, as several companies are pushing to introduce electric vehicles. Recently, BYD, one of the world’s largest EV manufacturers, entered Pakistan, while Changan launched its EV brand Deepal.
Alongside Kia, Hyundai Pakistan is also expected to showcase its new Elantra hybrid at PAPS, highlighting the growing interest in electric and hybrid technologies. With multiple companies now vying for a share of the EV market, consumers are likely to benefit from increased competition and a wider range of options.
