Latest updates on the Punjab College case

The Punjab government’s high-powered committee has released its initial findings on the alleged rape case.

According to committee, the girl’s parents strongly refuted the rape and assault allegations circulating on social media. They claimed that their daughter had not been assaulted but had suffered a fall at home on October 2, which led to medical treatment.

Despite the police and government dismissing the news as “misinformation”, many have accused both parties of concealing the truth. They raise critical questions about why Punjab College’s registration was initially cancelled if no wrongdoing had occurred.

The students continue to protest against the college administration, demanding clear answers.
