Gold prices in Pakistan on Wednesday declined for the second consecutive day, after a drop in the international bullion rates.


According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of per tola gold decreased by Rs3,000 to set at Rs271,700.


The price of 10-gram gold also recorded a similar decrease, settling at Rs232,393 after undergoing a decrease of Rs2,572.


This reduction reflects a drop in global gold prices, which experienced a decline of $30 to settle at $2,617 per ounce.

The price of gold in Pakistan dropped by Rs 1,000 on Tuesday. It’s important to note that just last week, the price for one tola of gold had reached a record high of Rs 277,000.
