The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced an auction for 90 exclusive number plates, which will take place on October 12 in Dubai.
What is so special about this auction?
The auction will feature distinguished 2, 3, 4, and 5-digit plates, including special numbers such as ‘AA17’ and ‘V96’.
The available plates will carry codes from the series AA, L, N, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z.
Bidders can begin registration from today (October 7) with the auction starting at 4:30pm on October 12 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.

Interested participants can register through the RTA’s website (www.rta.ae), the Dubai Drive app, or in person at the RTA’s Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Al Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha.
Bidders must have a traffic file in Dubai and submit a security cheque of AED 25,000 (almost PKR 20 lakh) addressed to the RTA.
Additionally, a non-refundable auction fee of AED 120 (PKR 9,103) is required.
