Pakistan’s Usman Khan has set a new national record for the fastest double century in List A cricket, achieving the milestone during a match against SNGPL while playing for Eshaal Associates in the President’s Cup. The match took place at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium, where Usman reached the 200-run mark off just 131 balls.
Usman’s innings, a display of aggressive stroke-making, saw him retire on 201 runs from 132 deliveries immediately after crossing the double-century mark. His blistering knock surpasses the previous national record set by Sharjeel Khan, who scored a double century in 133 balls in a 2022 match for Sindh against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
