Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has launched new air-conditioned double-decker buses in Lahore, according to a private news channel.

At the ceremony, notable attendees included Senior Provincial Minister Marrium Aurangzeb, Secretary of Tourism Farid Ahmed Tarar, MD of the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) Humira Ikram, and other officials.

This new fleet of double-decker buses aims to improve public transportation and enhance the tourism experience in the city. Terminals for these buses will be constructed at key locations such as DHA Phase 6, the Central Business District (CBD), and Safari.

Furthermore, new routes will be introduced, stopping at major landmarks like Shadilal Building, Chowberji, and Poonch House. Funded by the World Bank, these modern buses are part of a broader initiative to promote tourism in Punjab.
