Bollywood enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement for the upcoming sequel War 2, following the success of the 2019 blockbuster War. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani, and Jr NTR. Recent updates reveal that Hrithik and Kiara will be filming a romantic number in Italy this September.
As reported by Mid-Day, the production team has selected picturesque locations, including Venice, Lake Como, and Tuscany, as well as some lesser-known spots to enhance the song’s charm. The Italian shoot is scheduled to commence on September 18 and will span 15 days, with the romantic sequence slated for the first six days.
A source disclosed to Mid-Day: “Given the star power of Hrithik and Kiara Advani, the director aims to capture their glamour with a lavishly mounted romantic track. Composed by Pritam, the song will be filmed in exotic locales such as Venice, Tuscany, Lake Como, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and the Sorrento Peninsula.”

The song is expected to showcase Italy’s scenic beauty, while the latter part of the shoot will focus on high-octane action sequences and dramatic scenes, with the team returning to India in early October.
To maintain secrecy, the production has employed local Italian security personnel. “An extensive security team will patrol the locations prior to and during the shoot to prevent any leaks,” the source added.
War 2 is slated for a global release in 2025. Although plot details remain confidential, it has been confirmed that Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will engage in a dance-off, a major highlight of the film. The dance sequence, set to a Pritam-composed track, promises to be a visual and musical spectacle.
A source told Bollywood Hungama: “In War 2, Hrithik will face off against Jr NTR, with a specially crafted dance number that will showcase their exceptional moves. The sequence is expected to rival iconic dance numbers such as ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ and ‘Naatu Naatu.’”
