MPA Syed Amir Ali Shah from Bahawalpur has reportedly fallen victim to an online fraud scheme, as per reports from a private news channel.
According to details, MPA Syed Amir Ali Shah of PP-250 Bahawalpur received a fraudulent call claiming that his development schemes had been approved.
The caller, posing as an official, instructed him to deposit funds immediately. Trusting the information, MPA Amir Shah transferred over Rs631,000 online, falling victim to the scam.

The scam was immediately reported, leading to a case being registered at the Uch Sharif police station. This incident underscores the persistent threat of online scams, which are increasingly targeting individuals, including public officials, through advanced techniques.
