KARACHI: Coastal regions of Sindh are bracing for Cyclone Asna, a powerful storm expected to bring heavy rains and strong winds. The cyclonic storm is anticipated to result in school closures and evacuations in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The Sindh government has implemented precautionary measures as the storm, currently situated approximately 170 kilometers from Pakistan, is forecasted to cause widespread rainfall and thunderstorms. The Met Office has issued a warning for Karachi, urging residents to prepare for potential damage, particularly in coastal areas.

Indoor Precautions:
- Disconnect outdoor electrical appliances to prevent accidents.
- If evacuation is necessary, relocate to a more secure area.
- Keep all doors and windows closed and avoid being alone during peak storm hours.
