President Asif Ali Zardari has announced a reward of 100 million rupees from his own pocket for Olympian Arshad Nadeem.
A ceremony to award the Hilal-e-Imtiaz to Olympian Arshad Nadeem was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (President’s House). Following this, the champion athlete met with the President. During the meeting, the President praised Arshad Nadeem’s remarkable achievement.
Moreover, the President announced a reward of 100 million rupees from his side and stated that Arshad Nadeem has inspired the country’s youth. By setting an Olympic record, Arshad Nadeem has brought great pride to the nation.

He suggested that scholarships should be given to athletes’ children and recommended that the Sindh government contribute 250 million rupees to the PSB Endowment Fund.
Furthermore, he expressed hope that Arshad Nadeem will continue to bring glory to the country in the future.
