The Sindh High Court has granted a seven-day protective bail to Danish Iqbal, the husband of Natasha, who is accused in a deadly car crash in Karachi’s Karsaz area.

Moreover, Iqbal is required to submit a surety bond of 50,000 rupees for the bail.

Aamir Mansoob Advocate, Iqbal’s lawyer, argued that his client was at risk of being arrested, even though he was not involved in the accident. Natasha, who is in jail, was driving the car during the incident.

The crash occurred on August 19 when Natasha lost control of her speeding car on Karsaz Road, hitting pedestrians and resulting in the deaths of a father and his daughter. Four others were injured. Natasha was arrested on the spot.

In addition, witnesses stated that Natasha was driving recklessly and attempted to flee after hitting motorcycles and crashing into another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was not injured, but Natasha’s jeep overturned.

Ghulam Nabi, Deputy Superintendent of traffic Police Bahadurabad Section, confirmed that Natasha hit parked vehicles and motorcycles before the fatal accident. She was handed over to the local police, and the injured were taken to the hospital.
