The iconic fedora worn by Harrison Ford in the 1984 film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom has sold for a remarkable $630,000 at auction, as reported by UPI.

The sale was part of Propstore’s US Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, which featured over 450 items from film history.

The fedora, specifically crafted for the second installment of the Indiana Jones series, was verified through film shots, production stills, and behind-the-scenes footage. It was worn by Ford during key scenes, including the village set in Sri Lanka, the mine cart chase at Elstree Studios, and the river sequence filmed in the U.S.

This piece of cinematic history was part of the personal collection of Dean Ferrandini, a stunt performer who also donned the hat while doubling for Ford in the film. Ferrandini passed away in 2023, adding a poignant note to the auction of this legendary prop.
