The Sindh government has promptly banned plastic water bottles in all provincial government offices.

As per an official notification, employees are now instructed to use jugs and glasses instead of plastic bottles for drinking water.

Moreover, this decision stems from the Chief Minister’s concerns about the environmental harm caused by plastic bottles, discussed in a recent cabinet meeting.

In addition, implementation orders have been issued to all departments, with the ban taking immediate effect across all public offices in Sindh, according to a government spokesperson.
