Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced that 100,000 households in the province will receive free solar systems.

The chief minister stated that the free solar systems will include panels, inverters, wiring, fans, and bulbs, and will provide up to 2 kilowatts of power to each household.

The chief minister hoped that providing 100,000 solar systems would help reduce electricity theft and line losses in the province. He pointed out that while Punjab is only providing panels, KP will supply complete solar systems. He also highlighted that Rs20 billion has been allocated for this initiative.
