The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to send their national Test team to Pakistan early, due to security tensions in Bangladesh.

The PCB wants to provide a secure environment for the Bangladesh team so that they can train and practice before the first Test match, scheduled for August 21 in Rawalpindi.

The PCB assured the BCB that Pakistan has a stable law and order situation, promising the team freedom to train without security concerns. However, the BCB has not yet responded to the offer.

This invitation comes as Bangladesh’s preparations for the Test series against Pakistan were disrupted by an indefinite curfew imposed by their government amidst a political crisis.

Additionally, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid resigned on Monday due to anti-government protests.
