Google has announced the launch of its new AI Academy aimed at accelerating the growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI) startups in Pakistan.
The AI Academy initiative is designed to ignite new cross-border innovations and partnerships, facilitating the exchange of ideas, expertise, and resources to expedite the development of AI solutions.
Each startup will be eligible for up to $350,000 in Google Cloud Credit to promote AI development and experimentation. The program also includes opportunities for networking and collaboration with other AI startups across the region.

Applications for the AI Academy program are open until August 16.
Google is committed to ensuring that everyone can benefit from AI, and it believes that skilling is the first step. Earlier, the company launched Google AI Essentials, a new course designed to help more people unlock AI skills for the future. It also provides up to 45,000 scholarships for Google Career Certificates in 2024 and has added two new programs to upskill freelancers and women.
