The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has donated 20,000 health kits to female students in Baluchistan under the “She Power” initiative, aimed at improving health conditions, promoting hygiene, and raising health awareness among girls in the province.
The initiative was inaugurated at the Chinese Embassy on Wednesday, with Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq as the chief guest.
Moreover, the ceremony was attended by Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Senator Raheela Durrani, and Baluchistan’s Minister of Education, alongside representatives from the teaching community and Chinese companies.
In his address, Speaker Sadiq commended the initiative, aligning it with President Xi Jinping’s vision and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework.

In addition, he highlighted the historical significance of President Xi’s 2015 speech to the Pakistani Parliament, which bolstered the socio-economic ties between China and Pakistan.
Ambassador Jiang reaffirmed China’s dedication to enhancing bilateral relations and focusing on human welfare, reflecting the priorities outlined in President Xi’s 20th National Congress report.
He highlighted that ongoing projects, including the New Gwadar International Airport, as vital to Baluchistan’s development and Pakistan’s broader socio-economic progress.
Senator Mandviwalla praised the enduring friendship between the two countries and expressed support for the initiative.
Furthermore, the donation of health kits marks a significant effort to elevate the quality of life for female students in Baluchistan, reinforcing the deep-rooted cooperation between China and Pakistan in health, education, and human welfare.
