Kia to launch EV5 and EV9 models in Pakistan

Lucky Motor Corporation is set to introduce Kia’s new battery electric vehicle lineup later this year, according to sources.

Moreover, the upcoming models include the highly anticipated Kia EV5, EV9, new Sportage, and new Sorento.

The Kia EV9, an all-electric SUV, is designed to meet modern lifestyle demands with its rugged yet sophisticated build. The EV9 offers a spacious three-row interior that can seat up to seven passengers. It features Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which allows for ultra-fast charging and extended driving ranges.

Moreover, EV9 supports ultra-fast charging up to 210 kW and can gain 249 km of range in just 15 minutes of charge for the RWD version. Charging from 10% to 80% takes only 24 minutes. The vehicle supports both 400V and 800V charging systems, enhancing its versatility.

In addition, earlier this year, the Kia EV9 received top honors at the 2024 World Car Awards, including ‘World Electric Vehicle’ and ‘World Car of the Year’.

Additionally, the Kia EV5, the brand’s third dedicated electric vehicle, showcases a new era of electric mobility. Built on the E-GMP platform, the EV5 features a unique design philosophy called ‘Opposites United’, promising exceptional comfort and advanced technology. Its interior is designed to provide a spacious, lounge-like experience, setting a new standard for electric vehicle cabins.
