Aima Baig leaving Pakistan for good?

Prominent singer Aima Baig has raised concerns among her fans with an announcement that she will be leaving Pakistan for an extended period.

On Thursday, Baig took to her Instagram stories in the early hours to inform her millions of followers that she is traveling for Umrah and hinted that she might not return to the country soon. “Bye-bye Pakistan – for a while. I’m gonna miss my country since I’m leaving for a certain period of time rather than just a week or two or month,” she shared, accompanied by an upset face emoji.

She expressed her feelings of unhappiness about leaving, saying, “Wish I wasn’t leaving this unhappy but IK (I know) Allah will fix everything – even the mental stress and state we go through every day.”

In subsequent posts, Baig conveyed that she will miss Pakistan deeply, even poetically noting that “the clouds are crying” because of her departure.

Later, Aima Baig clarified in follow-up videos that she is not permanently relocating but is instead traveling for work-related reasons. Despite the uncertainty of her return, she reassured her fans that her departure is temporary.

On the professional front, Baig also announced that her next original single is set for release on August 18.
