Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will begin accepting applications for its Teacher Training Programs on September 1. The offerings include 1.5-year, 2.5-year, and 4-year B.Ed programs.

In the second phase of the Fall 2024 semester, AIOU will also provide a variety of other programs, such as associate degrees (BA/B.Com), Postgraduate Diplomas, and BS (ODL) programs.

AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Nasir Mahmood praised the success of the Faculty of Education’s teacher training initiatives. He highlighted that millions of teachers have been trained through these programs, with alumni making significant contributions to educational institutions nationwide.

“Our trained educators are making a significant impact in schools, colleges, and universities across the country,” Dr Mahmood said.

Currently, the first phase of admissions for the Fall 2024 semester is underway. The application deadline for Matric, FA, and I.Com programs is September 5, while applications for BS (Face-to-Face) programs, MS, MPhil, and PhD programs are due by August 20.
