Zulfiqar Ahmed, the owner of Cola Next who was allegedly abducted by eight armed men in Karachi, has safely returned to his home in Lahore, on Sunday.
Ahmed, who is also the managing director of Paracha Textile Mills and Mezan Group, was kidnapped in Karachi on July 23, 2024.
After his abduction, Ahmed’s family filed a case and sought help from the Sindh High Court (SHC).
Moreover, Ahmed went missing when his white Toyota Surf was intercepted by eight armed men on Karachi’s Mauripur Road. They abducted him and a friend, later releasing the friend.

Moreover, the abduction prompted Ahmed’s family and company to submit a complaint at the Kalri police station, but the police initially refused to register it. The family then approached the SHC, which ordered the police to file the case on Friday.
In addition, the police confirmed that a kidnapping case was registered at Kalri Police Station under Section 365, filed by Textile Manager Imran Malik.
Furthermore, Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odho stated that two high-powered teams, led by the CIA deputy inspector general and the Zonal DIG, have been formed to investigate the incident.
