National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has banned the purchase of new vehicles, as per an ARY News report.
Sources indicate that the NA speaker has instructed officers who are availing of monetization benefits to pay for vehicle usage according to the rules.
He also urged officers and Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) to use existing government vehicles responsibly.

In a demonstration of his commitment to austerity, Speaker Sadiq has refused to acquire a new vehicle for himself and has significantly reduced his protocol.
Moreover, his protocol now includes just two vehicles, showcasing his efforts to cut government expenses and set an example for other officials.
This directive is part of a broader initiative to promote fiscal responsibility and ensure efficient use of government resources, aiming to curb unnecessary spending and encourage prudent use of existing assets.
