LAHORE: The Punjab government has unveiled an innovative initiative to combat the province’s persistent smog issue. The “Mera Punjab Smog Free” Chief Minister Climate Leadership Development Internship Programme aims to empower young graduates and tackle environmental challenges through community service.

Eligibility criteria 

Recent graduates (within the past 2 years) aged 18-25 are invited to join the Punjab internship programme. Empower yourself to make a difference by tackling major environmental challenges and contributing to a cleaner Punjab through community service.

Here’s the deal:

  • Fight smog, get paid: Earn a Rs 25,000 monthly stipend while making a real difference.
  • Learn by doing: Gain valuable experience in environmental protection and community service under the “Smog-Free Punjab Initiative.”
  • Be recognised: Get a “Community Service Certificate” upon successful completion.
