The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing arrested a college lecturer, Tufail Abbasi, in Balida Town, Karachi following a complaint from a woman officer of the education department.
Abbasi had allegedly been blackmailing her on social media for months, and objectionable videos of the victim were found on his phone.
Moreover, a case has been filed, and investigations are ongoing. In a similar incident earlier this year, the FIA’s Faisalabad cyber crime wing apprehended two suspects—one for sexually harassing a woman and the other for online fraud, involving posting objectionable content of the complainant on social media.
