WEB DESK: Pakistan Railways has launched a special summer vacation train service from Karachi to Rawalpindi, starting on July 5 and running until July 30.
Moreover, the train will depart from Karachi at 8:45 pm, arrive in Lahore at 3:40 pm the next day, and reach Rawalpindi at 10:00 pm. For the return journey, the train will leave Rawalpindi at 12:30 pm, reach Lahore at 6:00 pm, and arrive in Karachi at 2:15 pm the following day. This service is designed to offer convenient travel options for families and individuals planning vacations during the summer break.

Additionally, on Thursday, the national railways announced the introduction of air-conditioned restrooms at Lahore Railway Station.
According to a spokesperson, these restrooms are equipped with hand sanitizers, hand dryers, geysers for hot water in winter, shampoo, clean towels, and diaper changing stations.
The spokesperson added that these facilities will be extended to thirteen more nationwide stations over the next three months. Developed through a public-private partnership, these restrooms will be accessible for a uniform fee of Rs 50
