SINDH: According to the Director General of Sindh Food Authority (SFA), 350 liters of chemically adulterated milk were destroyed, and one shop was sealed during an operation in Larkana and Bakrani to tackle the issue of adulterated milk.
SFA conducted an operation by a team led by Food Safety Officer Muhammad Ali Soomro. The team conducted several raids in both cities.
In a separate operation in Hyderabad, SFA’s Food Safety Officer Ishfa Zahid’s team seized 250 kg of monosodium glutamate (MSG). A fine of over 200,000 rupees was also imposed for the sale of this harmful substance.
The Director General of SFA, Mazamil Hussain Halipoto, stated that the sale of harmful food items will not be tolerated, and he urged the public to report any food-related complaints to the authorities immediately.
